Art by Craft Market

The Art by Craft Market this past Saturday organized by the Denver Handmade Alliance ended up being a lot of fun. It was a very well attended event and I was especially impressed by the quality of work created by all of the vendors. A definite highlight for me was selling one of my framed pieces that was featured in the gallery show. One of the organizers of the show at TOSA Gallery also requested to carry eight of my card designs at her store—Tomte Craft at Platte and 16th Street. So although I did not do a huge number of sales, I feel excited about some of the new relationships and leads that came out of this event.

Thanks very much to all of you who came out to show your support - it was great seeing you.

Art by Craft Market at TOSA

This coming Saturday, October 24th, I will be selling my cards at The Other Side Arts Gallery. This event is hosted by the Denver Handmade Alliance and is the first of what will soon be a bi-monthly series. I currently have 3 framed pieces hanging up in the gallery, and this Saturday will be the culmination of the show with over 20 art and craft vendors selling their work. If you're in the neighborhood, please stop by - I have a bunch of new designs with great new colors, and I'd love to see you.

Craft Show in Denver

On July 4th, I participated in an art and craft show with some other artistically-minded friends down in Denver. Despite the downpour that kept interested visitors away for about an hour, the show was a huge success. This event provided me with the necessary motivation to build up my inventory, figure out how I could best display my work, decide on a brand that I could stamp on the back of each card, and design and print business cards. I was very pleased with all the sales and positive feedback I received and had a ton of fun sharing a booth with Sara, Samuel and Maura.
